hi, today i want to talk to you about the problem which presents the cyanogenmod 13 version on some devices with navigation through the service mobile data i am currently connected to the wireless network and if i try to navigate, the internet navigation occurs seamlessly. for example, i will try to access any page on the internet. as you can see, the page load is correct. i'll show you what the installed version and the characteristics of my device
i currently have the latest version of cyanogenmod 13 the cell phone is a lg g3 model d851 t-mobile running android 6.0.1 version and the installed nightly is january 08 if i turn off the wifi and i turn on the mobile data service, as you can see in the screen top (next to the network icon), appears a exclamation symbol (!) and if i try to navigate to any web page, i get the following error message on screen: "problems with the dns" obviously already verify my apn settings is correct. the mobile plan is properly configured, if you experience this error and you can not navigate to internet in this version of cyanogenmod 13 (android m 6.0.1)
basically these are temporary solutions: (1) connect to a vpn service (2) change the dns for the interface of mobile data (i currently use this solution). for solution 2, there is an application that allows you to change the dns of your mobile data or wifi interface the application is called dnschanger (play store) when you run the application, you will observe that application requests the root permissions so you can make these changes. i have configured google as my primary dns and opendns as my secondary dns. you must apply the changes by pressing the "set" button. you can make these changes automatically
you must access to "setting" and select the option "auto apply for 3g" when you select "auto apply for 3g" apply changes to any mobile data connection active. then save the changes and leave the application. if you check at the screen top (next to the network icon), the exclamation symbol (!) has disappeared. you will now try to navigate to any web page and it will load without problems. if you check your wi-fi connection, this is not active. only the mobile data connection is active. as you can see, you can navigate to internet without any problems. remember, another solution is to connect to a vpn service
using an client application as "mastervpn" in case you do not can have root access on your device. thank you for your attention
