hey guys, it's jay kapoor here and finally official lollipop cm12 for yu yureka is out. *intro music playing* so hey guys, in this video i will show you how you can update your micromax yu yureka to the official lollipop cm12 update. first of all, you can try updating from the ota. go to settings, then about then system updates and if there is a lollipop update, then just update it. so if you can't wait for the ota, let's flash it manually. so first of all you have to download the zip cm12 tomato signed zip from the link down below in the description. it's a direct link. so as soon as you click on the link, it will start downloading. you can download this file from your phone also. so once it's downloaded, so transfer this zip file in your internal storage. don't put it in any folder. just

open your internal storage and paste the file. that's it. now we have to boot into the recovery mode. to do this first power off your device. then once it's power off, press vol up + vol down + power button at the same time and release it, when you see the yu logo. just click on apply update, then click on internal storage, then click on 0 and here you will see your cm12 tomato zip file. just click on that and it will start extracting and doing a install. it may take 5-10 min to flash the zip. once it's flashed, you will be in the recovery menu. then you click on reboot system now and your system will reboot. you will see a brand new cyanogen boot animation. after that it will optimize your apps. your apps and data are totally safe. optimising apps will take around 15-20 min depending upon the size of the apps and all that.
