place the unit upside down. slide the battery latches to the unlocked position. slide the battery pack toward the back of the machine, and out of the slot. locate the sim card slot inside the battery compartment. gently pull the card out of the slot. remove the two retaining screws. slide the cover toward the front of the machine. lift the cover from the chassis. remove the single retaining screw securing the hard disk drive and bracket to the chassis.

lift and slide the drive assembly to disconnect the drive. detach the hard drive bracket by carefully pulling the mounting posts from each of the four hard drive screw holes. starting at one end, insert each of the bracket posts into the screw mount holes of the hard disk drive. slide the drive into position and connect the drive to the system. install the single retaining screw. using the clips, align the cover on the bottom of the system. slide the cover toward the back of the system until it stops. replace the two retaining screws. align and insert the sim card into the slot.
