i will show you how proximity sensor works this is sample mobile see when i place the finger on sensor screen turn off and it turn on again when i remove fnger to fix the problem you need to install xposed installer it ask for su permission "grant" it install frame work and reboot now open xposed installer again goto download

search for "disable proximity" click download wait for download complete after download complete enable "disable proximity" now restart your phone now check your screen is off or not while making call screen doesnt goto sleep if you want to turn off screen press power button
