download firmware according to your device model (4gb/8gb). extract downloaded firmware with winrar. the firmware is different for both versions, but the upgrading method is same! mine is 8gb model. now open sp flash tools. install included drivers if necessary. select 'scatter loading' option and choose the scatter file from the extracted firmware folder. make sure that everything is checked. now select 'firmware upgrade' option connect the usb cable to your computer remove the battery of your device. connect your device with usb cable

now sp flash tools will start upgrading, you can see the status bar running. upgrade will take upto 5 minutes. i increased the speed of the video. speed 4x you can see this green circle if upgrade completes successfully. now remove the usb cable, insert battery & start the device by pressing power button. first time boot will take upto 5 minutes wait patiently until the device starts! now setup your device! now you are running kitkat on your micromax unite 2.
