overall design is quite unique which willhelp it stand out from the crowd. navigating around the phones vanilla android4.4.4 ui and switching between apps the noir x950s 1.5ghz octa-core mediatek processorwith 2gb ram delivers a snappy and smooth experience. the 5.0-inch amoled 720p screenperforms well too displaying vibrant colours and deep black tones this could be a greatdevice for multimedia applications as long as its 2500mah battery holds up.images and video are handled with a 13-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixels front-facing comboand 16gb of storage should hold a couple thousand pictures but if you need more space, you canexpand it using a micro sd card. the only thing that i can see some people not likingabout this phone is the lack of android 5.0

we will hopefully see it updated soon.the rounded 0.26" (6.6 mm) sides are nice to hold depending on how you pick up yourphone. if you usually grip it by the middle, then theres no problem. but if you are usedto holding your phone towards the bottom your palm will meet with much sharper edges onthe lower side. it does not feel as nice but its not a deal-breaker. and most people willbe able to use it one-handed with a sweep of the thumb covering most of the surface.even if the screen is a bit subdued in terms of brightness its resolution and 5-inch diagonalusually prove to be enough for watching videos on the go. true you can not be too fussy aboutthe colors, but the overall result is perfectly decent. you could easily watch a whole episodeof your favorite show on it.

now we come to gaming, an area where i didnot expect the qmobile noir x950 to perform well. as i mentioned earlier the mediatekmt6752 generally surprised me in a good way. the mali-t760mp2 gpu gets top marks as itallows you to run all the 3d games available from google play and, whats more with a decentamount of detail. like many recent qmobile models, it has a13 mpx camera. the photos you get are quite good, especially outside shots in good light.however its when conditions are less than perfect that the flaws appear. firstly youget far less detail than you do with the best 13 mpx cameras. i also noticed that the colorswere slightly dull. in low light results are not very good and theres excessive smoothing.

the surprisingly good 5 mpx camera on thefront also has a flash. this is not a world first but its rare enough for me to mention.the flash does a good job and does not overexpose very close-up subjects. you will get satisfactoryselfies, although 5 mpx obviously doesn't get you a lot of detail.given how slim it is and that it only has a 2500 mah battery,i feared the worst forthe battery life. but as it turned out i were in for a nice surprise. in battery life testthe handset managed a time of 10 hrs 25 mins. in the real world, it always held out fora full day and a half. you would really have to overdo the games and gps use to wear thebattery down within a day. theres a lot of potential for the qmobilenoir x950 and the rest of the qmobile line-up,

with some devices as affordable. but if thecompany needs a flagship device to grab peoples attention the beautifully designed qmobilenoir x950 is a strong candidate to be leading the pack with.
