How To Flashing zync 930

hey youtube what's up it's should i get itand today i'm going to be teaching you guys how to use the wireless flash commander modebuilt into your nikon d90, with a speedlight going from the sb600 all the way up to thesb900. so this is a really nice feature because you don't need to buy any wireless triggersfor this, no pocketwizards, no cowboy studio triggers, none of those things including cactus.all you need is your nikon d90 or above and a speedlight going from the sb600 and up.so the first thing you wanna do is grab your camera, here i have my d90 and you wanna gointo the menu. so normally the first menu you'll be in is the playback menu and youwanna go on the left side and drop down to the "custom setting menu", then you wannago right and go down to "e - bracketing & flash"

so then once you're bracking and flash, youwanna go to e2 which is flash control for built in flash, you will be set to ttl orat least you should be. then you're gonna wanna go down to commander mode and just hitok. but if you do wanna play with your settings you can do that too. so here you can controlhow much power you want from the built-in flash or if you want the built-in flash justoff, but i'm gonna leave it on "ttl" and then group a you can control how much power ingroup b. in each group you can have up to 3 wireless flashes. or slave flashes as youwould call them, so you can have a total of 6 flashes. and i'm gonna set it to channel3, just hit ok to set. i must tell you guys though that this only works in the four programor custom program modes which are manual,

aperture priority, shutter speed priority, and program. because if you are in auto, it won't let you control any of those settingsit'll all just be grayed out. so you want to go to manual mode. and there you are. soonce you have that, you're gonna wanna grab your flash, turn it on, and hit the minusand zoom button at the same time. once you've done that for three seconds, it'll open upthe sub-menu on the sb600 and just press the zoom key to turn on wireless flash, you cantell it's wireless flash by this little curved arrow symbol and then you hold zoom and minusonce again to save the setting. so now this receiver right here, will get the signal fromyour camera. so all you need to do now is hit the flash button next to your flash topop your flash open and the flash will send

a signal right here to the receiver and yourflash should go off. so here i have my d90 as you can see, nothing attached in the hotshoe, gonna fire, just stick it on manual (focus). fire, hopefully you saw that thesb600 did go off and it does beep very nicely. and as you can see the sb600 did go off. nowi'm gonna have my sb or my uh d90 right here pointing at the camera but i will cover theflash and now you can see that it didn't work and that's because the light coming out ofthis pop-up flash is actually sending signals to the flash. so i'm just gonna go to theback of my room right now and i'm gonna fire the flash. so as you can see the flash iscompletely wireless. so guys that was a quick tip/tutorial on how to setup wireless commandermode with your nikon d90 and sb600 flash.

hope you guys enjoyed, please don't forgetto rate, comment, and subscribe. peace
