today i’m going to show you how to takeapart the galaxy note 3 from samsung. so pop out the s pen. i’m going to link all thetools and parts that i know of in the video description below. amazon is usually wherei get all my stuff from. here is a diagram of the screws you need to release. those arejust little tiny phillips head screw driver. so get all those screws out. take the batteryout and then grab right here and kind of lift up with your fingernail and it will help youslid the pry tool between the plastic and the screen itself. and that will release theback plastic from the phone. there are a few little latches along the top as well, butonce you get it started it’s pretty easy to just slide your tool around and pop offthe rest of the back. one cool thing that

samsung has done actually is they’ve takenthe microphone and put it on the back of the phone. so there are two little connectorsright there that go onto the charging port and that’s where the microphone gets itspower and it’s connection to the phone from. so i’m going to show you how to take offthe charging port right now. it’s just a little latch up at the top; it’s kind oflike a little lego piece that snaps on. and then i’m sliding my pry tool underneaththe charging port to release it. it’s kind of just stuck on with sticky tape and a littlebit of glue. and that is the charging port, the micro usb 3.0 that samsung has startedputting on their devices. the note is the first one to have this kind of charging port.once you get your new one you can put it back

on. these are usually, you know once the partbecomes available, they’re pretty cheap. so just check the video description belowfor that. anyway, so if that’s all you’re doing, you’re done. if you want to keepon going and replace the screen of the phone, this is a little wire cable that just latcheson. just make sure to clip it back into place when you’re done. if you want to replacethe screen of your device there’s a little bit more you have to do. there are 6 littleribbon cables. there are those three, this is four, and five and six are right there.you just have to flip these up and out just like little lego pieces they clip up and out.there’s another one right here. and another one right here by the headphone jack. justbe really careful with this cuz if you rip

any of these cables you’re out of luck.then there’s one more down here by the s pin. so once you get those all up and off,the motherboard comes free. and the motherboard is attached to the camera as well so if youwant to replace the 13 megapixel camera, just take the same little ribbon connector, popit up and out, and your camera is off. so if you ever get any weird purple dots or anythingthat’s messing with your camera, just buy the replacement and pop it into place. nowthis is the screen of the phone. this is what you have to replace if you crack your screen.you’ve got the digitizer on the front and the lcd, the super amoled screen, underneath.you cannot separate the two, so if you break your screen, that’s the part you have toreplace. anyway, i will link those in the

video description below. and to put your phoneback together just take the motherboard, press it into place. make sure the camera goes inthe little square slot that it came from. then just press the little ribbon cables backinto place just like legos. then you’ll hear a little click each time you get it inthe right spot. get the charging port cable back into place; connect it to the motherboardagain. and then the back will also clip into place. just start at the top and clip aroundthe edges all the way around. and then there are all those screws again so here’s thediagram of where those go. they’re all the same size so you don’t need to worry about,you know, which one goes where. it’s pretty straight forward. anyway, get the batteryback in there. turn it on, make sure you get

hello everyone michael here once again withthe daily note 2 and 3 youtube channel and if you were looking for the personal introductioni apologize i'm waiting for a new microphone show up as i need a different kind of equipmentif i'm planning to shoot farther away from the camera so i'll bring that back once i get mymicrophone so today's video is about getting the most amount of brightness on the galaxy note3 & i used to always say the brighter the better for any device well the note 3has convinced me that we've reached the limits of that technology and they can make these phonesas bright as they want for example if you look at the galaxy note 2 next to the galaxy note 3 you'll notice that the galaxy note 3 it's just the hair brighter than the galaxynote 2 but in the galaxy note 2 defense i

sometimes find myself turning down the brightnessin a indoor setting for the galaxy note 3 which tells me that the galaxy note 2 probably couldhave been brighter if they chose to set it so those are my thoughts on the galaxy note3 when it comes to indoor settings, outdoors the galaxy note 3 is definitelyan improvement over the galaxy note 2 it is actually brighter but to make it noticeablybrighter you have to use the auto mode so you might see that this device might go dimmerin auto mode because it is not that bright in this room but take take this device outside itdoes become noticeably brighter and you could only get there in the automatic mode you can'tforce it into the new brightness mode manually so i'm just going to put them in i'm goingto use the led flashlight on my galaxy note

2 with this little widget here that i haveand i was the shine it on this sensor right here it is the light sensor that adjusts yourauto brightness one more time so i did some camera measurements and as far as hell, measureslight it actually is about 66 percent brighter so for example if you look at any sensor like the sensor on the galaxy note 3, it is made to collect light if you're able to focus on the screen andcollect as much light as possible you could collect 66 percent more light in the samealotted with the same settings in other words it is brighter may be significantlyso but let me take this outside and show you that although it is a big improvementwe still have a ways to go when it comes to looking at the screen on a sunny day thisso this is a video that i shot during the day outside

my balcony so you can see that the galaxynote 3 will be brighter than it's maximum manual settings when the sun is hittingthat sensor but i do want to mention that you have to be pretty much almost perpendicularto sun, so you can see that the galaxy note 3 is indeed brighter than the galaxy note 2 although i could say that we stillhave a couple of improvements in brightness to go until we could say this device is justas bright outside as it is indoors oh and just one more thing this might be just a personalpreference and it does use more battery but i always turn this off on my phone becausei find the changes in brightness if it's doing it for me automatically i find that just alittle annoying so i turn off this auto adjust screen tone this means when you open somethingup like a web page and the page is mostly

white it'll make it just a little bit dimmer to save your battery and make your eyes more comfortable but i just find it annoying and i turned itoff and that's just another to tip for you guys if you're looking to maximize the brightnessof your screen so anyway that's the end of today's video and for more videos on the galaxy note 3 makesure you check out my youtube channel and subscribe for more upcoming videos once againthank you for watching
