hello everyone...since, everyone is crazy about getting the kit kat update including me on s duos, but really sad that our s duos wont gonna recieve it... but wait we can install custom rom...yep... this is android 4.4.2 this is a full tutorial regarding the installation of cyanogen mod based on android kit kat.. so wait we are waiting fornow let's jump on the tutorial so guyshere to do a tutorial to flash android 4.4.2 kitkat on s duos...

this can be used on both the version of s duos which are gt-7562 and may be i guess gt-7582 which is s duos 2.... it will quite all the data except the pictures videos all those things... so make sure to create the back up of all apps that are important... there's no need of rooting and doesn't matter on which of the rom u are on currenty... hmm...you can be any custom rom, stock rom is not neccesary at all.... now what you gonna do on your phone is unabling the usb debugging... u gonna go about settings.. you gonna

go through all these stufs and at the bottom...you can find developer options... press ok we are good and then just unable usb debugging and press ok... now you are actually ready to go... there are some links in the descriptionplease check them out and download them before you go this one is the rom file and this is for installing cwm recovery k.. clock work mod recovery contains 3 files...

plz make sure that your pc have samsung usb drivers already installed if notinstall the samsung usb drivers first... ow just connect your phone to the pc firstly i will copy the rom file in the internal storage of my device... k copy it down and i am going to paste it here... actually i have already placed it in my internal memoryso i am not doing it again... now what we need to do is

go ahead andget into downloading mode... for that just disconnect your phone... okay so go on and turn off your device... i think that's done now so thereafter u have to press hold the volume down + home key and the power key simultaneously untils the phone vibrates.. so do it like so this is going to take us into the downloading mode...

you will see this warning on your phone...read it out and there are some warnings written on your screen... please wait and don't forget to remove the back cover as you will need it to revome the battery while flashing the recovery later on so be readywith all these things now i can press volume up to continue this will take us into the screen whereyou will see some text written okay you are doing good

you should pluck your device now at the moment so pluck it on in now we actually need to switch on to the pc and flash the clock work mode recovery.. so open the odin doesn't matter what the version is... i think, i have version 1.85... i'll copy this cause i think i'll need it later on... now i can go further open odin this yellow box means my phone is connected if it is not appering on your screen then

then install the drivers again... hmm.. can will select pda option here and select the kyle opencwm 5.tarwhat ever it is... now i can start the process it will actually give you progress on the screen letting you know that what is actually happening it's gonna take a little bit of time..so please don't interupt the process after some time you will see the box withgreen color box and a box down it make you know the time

my takes 31 seconds you are preety much done on your pc and you go on to your phone you can see now it's flashing the recovery...you will see a progress bar letting you know the percent dates that how muchit's done... it will even take a bit some time... make you hands ready as you will need to remove the battery as your phone vibrates... the phone will automatically start but you don't want phone to be started... so just disconnect the phone and removethe battery

now you can't place it back on its placeand we can boot into the clockworkmod recovery i will press home key, both the volume keys and power key all togertherto jump on to the recovery mode so that we are on clockworkmod recoveryversion 5 any version of it can be used... you can use volume down and up to navigate now what you gonna do is navigate to the third option which is wipe data/factory reset...

and then press the home key to select and navigate to yes - delete all the user data... you will se these text on screen letting you know that what is actually happening that just navigate do the fourth optionwhich is wipe catch partition and again you have to navigate to yes ohh yeah!!! after you have done these you have to navigate to the advanced options

then select wipe delvin catch again you have to press yes. this is boring stuff... then you have to press third option which is wipe battery stats then again yes now yeah it's pretty much done and youcan go back and going back you can selectinstall zip from sd card again choose zip from sd card

and navigate down to the botton to the file that you have placed earlier on your phone you have to select yes and you will see the these texts and you can really look atthese texts to know that what is really going on installing update and what ever so this file will take a bit of time..so be patient with it.. my guesses are that it will take

maybe 2 minutes or 3 minutes i'll be back after some time all right you'll see install from sd card is complete... we are ready to go...that's preety much it... so you have to go back using power key... and then just choose reboot system now using the home key... hmmm!!! that's gonna reboot our device and that should be it... our device now should be on android 4.4 kitkat...

it's gonna boot up this boot will take a little bit longer than usual you haveto keep that in mind and that's it i'll be back once it boots up alright phone boots up and we are done... as you can see we are now on android 4.4 kitkat and i know what you are waiting for now i'll show you that by going to settings
