How To Flashing samsung z1 sm z130h

today i'm going to be showing you how to upgradeyour samsung galaxy note 2, specifically the t-mobile version, from jellybean or marshmallowwhich is the operating system. it's the older version. we're going to be upgrading it tothe latest build, which is 6.0. if you can see this one is on 5.1, which is an outdatedversion and because the hardware, the galaxy note 2 is over two years old they are no longerallowing you to upgrade to the newest software, so unfortunately we're stuck with an outdatedsoftware for our phones but there is a way to upgrade to the latest and greatest. it doesrequire a little bit of work but anybody can do it and if you follow this guide, you willbe able to do it no problem. ok so before we get started, there's a couple things you aregoing to need in order to do this. the first

thing you are going to need is obviously at-mobile galaxy note 2. this process that i'm going to be showing you is specific to thismodel so don't try to do this with any other version, this is the only one that it's goingto work for. you're going to need a usb cable to connect your phone to the computer, andthat is the last thing you are going to need is a computer. so you're going to need yourphone, cable, and a computer, and you're also going to need to download a package that hasall the software you're going to need. i'll post a link to that in the description ofthe video. so the first thing we're going to do is we are going to root the phone. that'sbasically going to give you access to all the hidden systems folders that you're notsupposed to have access to. the way to do that

is you are going to go to your "settings"and you're going to go down here to "about phone" because before we can do anything wehave to "enable developer options" and in order to do that what you are going to dois you are going to click on where it says "build number" you're going to tap that andyou are going to keep tapping it until you enable developer settings. if you can see i'mone step away from enabling it so i have successfully enabled developer settings. so once you'vedone that you need to go back. 2500:02:33,500 --> 00:02:33,860enabled developer settings. so once you'vedone that you need to go back. 2600:02:33,860 --> 00:02:33,860enabled developer settings. so once you'vedone that you need to go back. after you have enabled your developer optionsyou're going to go into it and you're going to "enable usb debugging" so there's a buttonthat says "android debugging" and you click on it and it asks you if you want to allowusb debugging and you're going to say ok, and

once you have enabled debugging now its timeto root your phone. so now that we have usb debugging what we're going to do is we'regoing to use our usb cable and we're going to connect it to the computer and as soonas you do that you should get a popup from the phone asking you if you want to allowusb debugging from your computer to this phone and what you're going to do is you're goingto always allow and hit ok. now you can put the phone down for this next part. what you'regoing to have to do is in that package that's in the description that's in the video there'sa program called "kingo root" and it's pretty simple all you have to do is follow the onscreen instructions. it's going to give you step by step instructions and you're goingto connect your phone as well and once they

start communicating what your're going tohave to do is you're going to go here and you're going to press this button that says"root" and your phone should also start doing things to let you know that it's been connectedand all you have to do is wait and after about 5 or 10 minutes the program should go throughit's things and you should be all rooted, so i'll go ahead and fast forward through thisnext part until we get to the next one, and just like that we have successfully rootedour phone. this program has finished and if you look at your phone it's also going totell you that the root was successful, and now that we've gone through all of that it'stime to install some more software. ok now that you've got you phone rooted you're goingto go into google play store and you're going

to search for a program called "twrp manager(requiresroot)" and since our phone has already been rooted we are going to install it, you're justgoing to accept that and you will give your phone a minute to download and install itok that's installing. ok now that we have installed it we are going to open it. we are going to allow this program permission.so now that we're into the program itself, what you're going to do is it's going to wantmore information about your device so we get the right version for our phones, and you'regoing to click on that, and it's going to bring you up a list of all of the different phones, and you will scroll down all the way until you can find the galaxy note 2 for t-mobile.ok here it is samsung galaxy note 2 t-mobile so you're going to click on that and thenyou're going to click on this button that

says recovery version to install. it's goingto bring up a list of all of the different versions. i would recommend using the mostcurrent revision which would be 3.0, so all you're going to do is click on that and thenyou're going to tell it to install recovery. so it's going to download it and i'll go aheadand fast forward through this for you, and once you've downloaded it it's going to askyou to verify that this is the correct partition that you want to install this on and you justmake sure it says "dev/block/mmcblk0p9" and you just hit yes, so it's going to flash andverify your recovery and as you can see installation was successful and it wants to know if we'd like to rebootrecovery now. we're going to press "no" because before we go ahead and get into that there'sa couple more things we need to do. the first

thing would be install the new software thatwe're going to be using on the phone. we're going to need to put that in the phone storageso that when we boot into recovery we can go ahead and flash the new system software.ok for this next step what we're going to need to do is we're going to connect the phoneto the computer, and what you're going to do is you should go into your devices and assoon as you plug in your phone it should pop up, you just click on it and you're going towant to go to wherever you have enough storage. right now my internal is full so we can goahead and put this on the sd card. so we'll go into this folder called "android" and whatyou're going to want to do is you're going to want to take this "all tools" folder thatis in the download description and you're

just going to copy it, and you are going topaste it into your "android" folder and you can just say "no skip this file". so rightnow it's going to put the google play store and your new software update onto the phoneso that we can reboot into recovery mode and flash this new software on your phone. ok sonow that we have all of the software onto the phone we're going to reboot into recoverymode, so what you're going to want to do is you're going to want to hold volume up, whichis this button. you're going to hold the home button, or the side button, and then also thisbutton right here. so there's 3 buttons that you have to press down simultaneously to beable to get it into recovery. so i'm going to hold these two up here and i'm going tohold this one at the same time and just keep

holding them down for about 15 or 20 secondsand you should be able to get into your recovery software which will let us load the new systemos onto the phone. and so just keep holding these buttons and after about 10 seconds youcan let go and your phone should boot into what is called recovery mode, and that's goingto allow us to flash a new software onto the phone. and there it is, "teamwin", that's thename of the developers that made this program. so it's pretty basic but there's a coupleof things you have to do before you go ahead and load the new software, the first thingyou're going to want to do is you're going to want to take a backup, in case anythinggoes wrong, so you can always go back. so you go into backup and there's going to be a listof check boxes here it's asking you what you

want to backup. you go ahead and check allof them and then you're going to swipe to backup, so you just swipe and then it's goingto start making a backup of all of your software so that in case anything goes wrong we canalways go back to it. ok so now that we've made a backup the next thing you're goingto want to do is you're going to do a wipe, and all you need to do is you're going toneed to swipe and that will perform a factory reset and that's going to go ahead and giveyou a fresh start, so that when you install the new software there's no conflicts or anythinglike that. so after you've done a factory reset you're just going to go back. ok now we'reready to install the software, so you go to "install" and then you're going to need tofind the folder that you put it in, and the

one that i put it in was called "android"so i just go into there, and there it is "all tools" so i'm going to select that folderand i'm going to select on the new software update which is going to be "ressurecctionremix" that is the name of the people that made this and so you click on that and thenall you have to do is swipe and it should start flashing your new software. and we'lljust give that a minute to load and then there's a couple more steps and then you're all done.ok after the install has been successful you're going to go back and the next thing we needto do is we need to flash the google play store and that's also in the same folder inthe "all tools" so you're going to click on "open gapps" and you're going to flash thatand this is going to install all of your google

things, maps, playstore, all of your google services.this part is very crucial, otherwise your phone won't work right. and that's pretty much it.now that you've successfully installed that you can go ahead and reboot your system. oknow that the phone has been rebooted everything is good to go and you can even go into your"settings" again and if you go to "about phone" you can see that we have been upgraded fromandroid 5.0 which is lollipop, we are now on android version 6.0 which is marshmallow. sothere you have it, just because your phone is no longer supported with updates from theofficial android update, there is a way to get around it, and you can still breathe lifeinto your old phone!
