hey guys welcome to xtream droid my name is sameer and in this video i will do a quick review on official marshmallow rom for redmi note note 4g which is ported by mokee.so let’s get started now as you can see i am holding a redmi note 4g which is running on latest marshmallow. let me show you that it is running on latest android 6.0.1 marshmallow. this rom is very smooth and feels very good. ram management of this rom is also quite nice i must say that it is better than miui you can do lots of multitasking without any lag. i am using this rom since 2 weeks previously this rom has to many bugs like sometime google play services not working, camera ui crashes, music player also stops suddenly. . but with the latest nightly update of 11 january these problems has been fixed. now the rom is almost 95% stable now talking about its battery performance. the doze mode which is one of the best feature of marshmallow is working perfectly fine . i am easily getting about 4 hours of screen on time so the battery will last a full day with normal usage. you can also change the battery mode i am using balance mode because it is ideal for me. coming to the memory. the ram management of the rom is also nice. you can individually check which app is using how much of ram .

so that you can remove unwanted apps which are using major amount of ram. it also enables you to check your internal storage. that how much of storage is used by you apps, videos or images you can also enable on screen navigation button if you like that and you can wake up your device using volume button. there are tons of different option thought which you can customise. in this rom you can also enable root access and multi window option. just go to about phone tap the built number 7 times to enable developer options. now in developer option you can enable advance reboot swipe down click root access now select apps and adb. by swiping down you can also enable multi window option which is working perfectly fine now coming to its camera performance. the camera ui is very simple just like stock google camera.. in setting you can change the megapixel as well as aspect ratio of both front and back shooter. the hdr mode is also working. it can also record full hd 1080p resolution videos. it can take some decent pictures in outdoor light but indoor performance in not good

now the last thing which i would like to talk about is the sound quality which is pretty decent. if you like to listen the music in ear buds than you don’t have any problem because in ear quality is good but the speaker quality is not so impressive. now let me show you how to install this rom first download the rom zip and gapps file i will leave the links in the description below. switch off your phone then press volume up and hold power button to enter in the recovery mode. i personally recommend you to make a backup of your current rom in case anything went wrong. now select wipe and swipe right to to wipe your data then click install and select rom zip file then swipe right to confirm the flash. it will take some time so just wait one it is done go back and install the gapps now click reboot system the first boot will take more time then the normal once it is done setup you device and enjoy.
