cynogen and mokee had recently launched their nightly rom for xiaomi mi4 and mi3 which is based on android 6.0.1 marshmallow. so i thought i should make a comparision video for you guys to check out which rom is more stable.. in this video i will do a quick comparision on both roms related to their features and performance. so this is sameer from xtream droid and lets get started. the first thing which i would like to mention is that both the roms are very similar in terms of ui. the look and feel of both rom is quite similar.android 6.0.1 the first thing which i would like to mention is that both the roms are very similar in terms of ui. the look and feel of both rom is quite similar. android 6.0.1 let me show you that they are running on latest android 6.0.1 now lets talk about their performance. both the roms are buttry smooth and pretty fast i didn’t notice any lag while switching between the apps and games. the animations and transictions are also very snappy. i am using both the roms since 5 days and i did’t find any major bugs but they have some minor bug. i will talk about them later.

now coming to their battery performance the battery performance of mokee rom is slightly better then cynogenmod 13. in cm 13 i noticed that during night when i am not using the phone. the battery percentage drops about 20% which in case of mokee i didn’t encounter. . also the charging time is about 2 to 2.5 hours on both rom. as we know that xiaomi mi4 supports fast charing but this feature didn’t work on both rom but it is not a big deal i am sure that in future update it will be fixed now lets have a look over the features of these roms. the two best feature of android marshmallow which i personally like is multi window and google now on tap. both the roms support multi window feature which is very cool but the google now on tap feature is only supported by cm 13 . both the roms have root access inbuilt just go to settings then about phone now tap the built number 7 times to unlock developer option. now go to developer option click root access then select apps and adb to enable root access. by scrolling down you can also enable multi window option now talking about camera both roms have similar stock camera it is not as good as miui camera.

the camera ui is also very boring but you can click some decent images in natural lighting low lighting performance is not so good. these are some sample pictures. the main feature of the camera app is that it can shoot 4k videos now coming to the sound quality .the sound quality is very nice on both roms. in speaker the sound output is slightly better then miui it is clear and loud. the ear phone quality is also acceptable you can also customise the sound as per you requirement by using audio fx which is inbulit in both. there are some more features on these roms but i don’t want to do an indepth comparision. i just want to give you guys an overview of these roms . so you could choose which one is better for you. my personal fevt is cm13 bceause it is more stable and its nightly update is also consistant and as you know that xiaomi is very lazy in updating their android version. most of its device is stuck on 4.4.4 kitkat. so in my openion you should try these roms it is almost 90% stable and they are official supported so no doubt you will get future updates.
