the gas stuff seems to be a... i don't know if it's- it's man done, i don't know why theres 2 visitations i didn't really see an answer that other people had either, it doesn't really matter kind of where it came from, it could be man made, it could be an experiment that they're sending out gas capsules and for some people it makes them better, it evolves them, it brings them into a new age of humanity almost, and then for the others it just turns them into the black goo creatures- sorry, the fuckin sound cut out it turns them into like the black goo creatures with the white eyes and they're just mindless zombie drones. and then the other people move forward, they- they grow, they get better, they become
they become smarter, stronger, all-all these different types of things, they become the next evolution in humanity i think. and that's probably what that cowboy dude was at the end, maybe that's why he was always ahead of you, it seems like he always knew what was going to happen that, the engine in your train was what was keeping you alive and that as soon as you passed one of the gas canisters at the end without your train engine that you've either been away from it too long, or you used the engine in your train to power the guardian, that as soon as you passed one of those leaks, you became infected yourself and that's how long it took you, to change uhm, and then it seems like the little colony of people at the end could of been
like the new formed people, they could have been newly evolved people and that's why they didn't pay attention to you because you were just gonna die anyway i don't know there seems to be a lot left up in the air and the guardian, it seems like maybe people knew that it was gonna fail all along but they- they gave like people a hope and humanity they gave people something to strive towards, like oh, the guardian will save us and then like, it failed, just uh that or it was just always destined to fail like the- the technology wasn't in place i don't know, it- it's very weird but at the- it seemed like something clawed the fuckin guardian at the end, it seemed like it didn't just
fail naturally it seemed like something took it out of the air, maybe the missile i launched blew it out of the air, i don't know that-that's really weird, and then at the end, the dude said, i'll take good care of her, i think he meant your train cause your train seemed to have like a big part of everything that was going on cause there was no really other, her, that he could be referencing very, very unique game, people said i'd be very disappointed in the end, i was- slightyly, but not- not hugely i don't really like it when characters die and then it's like, oh what happened? like, i- i like ambiguous endings but ambiguity for the sake of ambiguity is not really good, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, sometimes it leaves you feeling like you want more
but all in all, very, very good, this game really surprised me, blew me out of the water, the type of story telling that it accomplished through its environments without having to shove like a bunch of exposition, a bunch of dialogue in your face all the time was very, very good.and very... very well done for like such a small game, for such a- like a small budget game, and a 2d pixelated game, see sometimes the best games come from the smallest games, it doesn't have to be something huge and triple a sometimes like the best stories can come from something very small
uhm, big things come in small packages, as they said, but all in all i love this game uhm, whatever the story ended up being, whatever the whole thing like was, cause they talked about portals in the game and then they talked about they didn't have to travel far because they use a tunneling system or a portal system so maybe it was- maybe the first visitation was like aliens, was, it could be people from the future, we don't know, maybe it was the people who were trying testing out the portal at the end they said, talking about the neighboring area, but it doesn't, it might not be the neighboring area, as in
the next town over, cause we were using trains to do that maybe it was that they were trying to elminate the train, the need for the train systems, just bridge all the areas together or maybe neighboring area made- meant the neighboring dimension maybe it meant, the neighboring whatever, cause that station, that i was in that had all the waawawa sound going on, that had two moons so maybe that was drawing parallels to parallel universes, or maybe it was just showing something, maybe a portal was open showing two moons i've no idea, it's- it's very intriguing and i liked the type of sci fi that it was going for
