hello guys, welcome to my youtube channel tech soul and i am back with a new tutorial on how to flash cynogenmod 14.1 means android 7.1 rom on your moto g 2014 so, this tutorial for those guys who have rooted moto g2 and custom twrp recovery installed so if u have it then u r ready to go

what u have to do is , first of all open your browser any browser you have and i have google chrome search xda devolpers moto g2 in google here this page will apper moto g (2014) xda devolopers here you can see rom [unofficial][titan] after clicking ,in new page you will see rom unofficial

titan cynogenmod 14.1 by luk1337 he is devoloper ,thanks to him due to him this rom is availbale go down below and you can see all the details here in download section you have to go and for downloading rom click on builds an open in new tab

also open gapps in new tab whether your model xt1063/xt1064/xt1068/xt1069 you can download it. so here motorola moto g 2nd gen(2014) all the list of roms will apper here, so u can see bcoz this is in testing phase so each day one after other some modification or bugs are fixed,so each day new rom

comes, so here u can see as 31 oct that rom was available and 1st nov this rom is available so , install latest rom which is available sorted by date so here i have downloaded this rom 31 oct so toaday 1st nov rom is available so u will download latest on

i will give links of rom & gapss in description below check it out. download latest rom which is is available on that date so click on rom and download it click on begin download click on primary download server and save zip file in folder of cm 14.1 rom save it to folder or desktop

and then open this gapps and select arm which is most popular 32 bit platform for mobile devices select 7.1 you can select per your choice,but i will prefer pico , nano or micro bcoz above all have more apps which i don't need i like pico,bcoz it has only play store then click on download

so after downloading this rom and gapps u have two zip files and copy them to your sd card of your mobile device so that u can flash from it.so i have downloaded an copied already to sd card of moto g2 now let's start flashing, you can see

i have moto g2 xt1068 in my hand and i have rooted it already and i have also installed twrp recovery in my phone so, lets start flashing cynogenmod 14.1 unofficial rom on my moto g2 so,in first step you have to enter in fastboot mode,to enter in fastboot mode you have to press power button + volume down button simultaneosly

so i am going to press it simultaneously both for few seconds just press it ,in 5 sec it will apper on screen so you can see it ,fastboot mode i have entered in fastboot mode and here you can see in yellow colour ,device is unlocked. make sure that you have above 50% battery. for going up and down use vol- for scroll and for selection vol+ button.

so, i am entering in recovery mode so pressing vol- button,then vol+ here i have entered in recovery its teamwin twrp recovery 3.0-2 so lets i have already downloaded cm 14.1 rom and gapps pico 7.1 i have given link in description below

for installing it ,so download it from there and so twrp recovery has opened just swipe to allow modifications,i have swiped now here you can see the options install,wipe,backup..etc. so i am going to clean install ,first i m gonna wipe my data so here

swipe to wipe data,cache,dalvik to factory reset down below now it is updating partition details & wiping data sucessfully wiped click on back navigation button now go to install and here you have to select

your storage ,so i have downloaded zip files of cm 14.1 rom in sd card storage ,so i will select micro sd card storage and click on ok so you can see cm 14.1 unofficial titan rom and gapps 7.1 pico two zip files

at bottom, so first of all i m gonna flash this one cm 14.1 rom unofficial titan rom, select it by clicking on it swipe to confirm flash , now its flashing patching system image unconditionally just ignore these two unknown command options and we have flashed sucessfully so goto back , don't reboot here

and now flash open gapps and swipe to confirm flash it will take some time yeah , we have sucessfully flashed these two zip files 1st cm 14.1 rom and 2nd gapps, so now we have to reboot system ,so click on reboot system here down below ,reboot system

click on it my phone is rebooting it will take some time yeah , you can see logo of cynogenmod now phone is booting wait few minutes bcoz it is its first boot yeah, i am back after two minutes and it has welcome screen of cynogen mode is on screen

now select language i will select english click on next you have to enter your wifi details and i m gonna set it i don't want to use cellular data so i have closed cellular data go to next so we have succesfully flashed cm 14.1 rom on moto g

enter email /phone details now accept terms and condition of google and you can see check your apropriate options yeah , my welcome screen is here so here you can see that we have sucessfully flashed this cm 14.1 rom its looking nice very nice
